These cottages were originally built for the town’s fishermen, high above the harbour, where they could keep watch on their resting fishing vessels in the harbour below. From the cottage there are views right across the bay towards paignton and torquay. Captains cottage is just five minutes from the harbour and shops, and just a quick drive from many of the local beaches. The historical towns of dartmouth and totnes are both within a few miles, whilst the livelier seaside towns of paignton and torquay are also on the doorstep. Shops ¼ mile.

Open-sided stairs to 1st floor: open-plan living/dining area with harbour views. Kitchen with patio doors. Open-tread stairs to 2nd floor: sitting area with 2 single futon beds (alternative sleeping only) and viewing platform.
