Refno:50977. Just off the a338 from hungerford towards pewsey haredown farm is a period house situated in a tranquil setting amongst the rolling wiltshire countryside conveniently located near the historic towns of hungerford and marlborough.

In the nearby village of great bedwyn there are train connections to london reading & heathrow also to the west country. It is a great base for local shoots golfing walking cycling or horse riding whether it is for a short break or longer. We have 2 bikes that can be hired at a small cost. Haredown was formerly a working farm but now is a family home with horses goats chickens ducks etc. It is set amongst eleven acres of paddocks and gardens and is an ideal place to relax or to also bring your horse/horses. It provides high-quality stabling and turn out. Guests will receive a warm welcome and will be greeted with tea/coffee in a private lounge with roaring log fire on cold days. Breakfast is served in an elegant dedicated dining area area which is cooked in the aga. All products used will be organic free range eggs & meat produced from local farms or eggs from our own chickens.
great bedwyn is situated a near-by away from hungerford and marlborough. Hungerford is an historic town with the kennett & avon canal running through it. It has a lovely tea room called tutti pole and is famous for it's antique shops and wonderful antique arcade. There is also a lovely water meadow where you can walk and watch the wild life.
