hello, i have my lovely (and very large!) room with ensuite available to rent short-term from the 10th february. I am going away on holiday for the month and would like to let my room out in my absence. Dates are negotiable as also going away with work soon after i return from holiday. Rent also negotiable as have left this last minute as usual!
location: eight mins walk to wandsworth common rail (10 minimum train to victoria where you can just about get anywhere in london). 219 bus stop just outside house so very easy to get to clapham junction. 319 from wandsworth common also takes you through to clapham common.
room includes king size bed with new mattress. 2x sets of drawers, hanging rail, park knoll armchair, bookcase and various other bits & bobs. All furniture is my own as the house came unfurnished when rented six months ago.
bathroom includes dedicated shower & bath (jacuzzi), toilet, double sink, heated towel rail and use of own drawers.
house:
living room - very good size with three large sofa's, television/dvd etc. Surround sound throughout house.
kitchen - like the most of the house the kitchen is also really huge. Lots of worktop space, dishwasher/large american fridge etc.
conservatory - used mainly at weekends, supposed to be main dedicated dining area room but most eat at the breakfast area in the kitchen.
other - our lovely mansion also includes grassy garden & 2 sheds, huge decking area, basement/utilities area. Central & underfloor heating.
bills are 72 pcm and include everything (tax/sky television/internet etc).
couples considered but rent would have to be upped slightly.
housemates: you'll be sharing with a beautiful bunch of professionals (all work 9-5 except one in central). Good balance of m/f. We've been living together now for around six months and everyone gets along so well - the house is so big you can easily do your own thing but there's pretty always someone in to have a chat with. Kitchen is a popular wind down - wine sharing area throughout the week. Conservatory often used for lazy sunday morning breakfast feasts.
warning - you may well fall in love with my housemates...i will want them back!
