After only a few minutes’ walk into the heart of stratford guests will find themselves surrounded by the history and tradition of shakespeare’s birthplace, nash’s house, shakespeare’s chapel and the world renowned royal shakespeare theatre. Stratford is also well known for its many restaurants, bistros, riverside cafes and farmer’s markets that provide an opportunity to experience local produce and fayre. A quick drive away lies the historic town of warwick where the castle and grounds can be visited and admired. The chic town of royal leamington spa is only a twenty minute drive and is famous for its boutiques and designer shops alongside its bustling cafes and bars. Birmingham can be reached in around a 30 minute drive and in the opposite direction cheltenham, gloucester and the cotwolds offer plenty of established walks and bike rides through breathtaking countryside and hills.
