Sunnymede is located in a hamlet called ellingstring, just 5 mis from the market town of masham. The cottage has been brilliantly restored and retains some original features such as old beams and feature fireplaces. Sunnymede sleeps up to 6 people and has three beds - 1 double, one twin and 1 adult bunks. The cosy sitting area and dedicated dining area room have lovely open fires, which are perfect to relax next to. Sunnymede also has an excellent kitchen and bathroom. The cottage has front and rear gardens and off road parking for two cars. There are many beautiful villages and towns nearby that have something for everyone. Sunnymede is a fantastic base for families or friends wanting to explore this part of yorkshire.

situated in stunning wensleydale alongside the pretty river ure is the lovely market town of masham. 2 markets - 1 on wednesday and 1 on saturday occur within the delightful market square. Masham has many shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs and is also home to the famous black sheep
brewery. There are also many walks in the area, including a fabulous ten mile walk along the ure. Just one mi. Away is the magnificent jervaulx abbey. The bustling towns of ripon, harrogate and thirsk are also nearby and worth a visit. The breathtaking yorkshire dales and north york moors national parks are a easy drive away. There is so much to see and do within this area at any time of the year.
