Close to the medieval city of salisbury with its numerous shops bars and restaurants and of course the famous cathedral itself the city has a lot to offer. You could also venture to the world famous stonehenge visit the remains of old sarum castle and cathedral enjoy a day at the races or have a leisurely game of golf. Or why not take in the beautiful surroundings and go for a walk in the new forest! There is always plenty to do and if thats not enough southampton and bournemouth are also near by! Every guest room at wisteria cottage is accessed through your own front door and the rooms are arranged around a large drive way which leads into a pretty cottage garden. All guests have access to a completely equipped kitchen with a cloths washer and ironing facilities and a guest lounge which looks out over the garden and is warmed by a wood burning stove in the winter. The perfect cosy retreat! There is plenty of storage for any bikes walking or fishing equipment. All rooms are ensuite with the superior rooms offering flat screen tv/dvd players coffee machine hairdryer a safe and a radio alarm clock in the room. The standard rooms are also well maintained and although you may not have everything in your room it is all available to you through the guest kitchen and lounge which you will have access to 24 hours a day. All rooms are accessed from the driveway meaning with only a threshold to cross all areas are easily accessible. Children of all ages are welcome at wisteria cottage b&b (accompanied by an adult) and pets are also welcome via prior arrangement.

wisteria cottage b&b has the added bonus of being able to offer its guests use of a completely equipped kitchen where you are able to store food and cook your own lunch or evening meals if required. There is also a cloths washer in the kitchen for guests use between 9am and 7pm. Ironing facilities are also provided for use by the guests. There is a pretty cottage garden which you can feel free to enjoy in the warmer months.
the bed and breakfast is in a peaceful village just 4 mis south from salisbury city centre on 1 of the oldest streets in wiltshire. Alderbury has a population of about 2000. There are 2 pubs the green dragon and the 3 crowns. Charles dickens is believed to have been staying at the green dragon while writing martin chuzzlewit and that the blue dragon in the book is in fact based on this pub. There is a post office a village store a police station a church and a small park.
