Senior Architect for Leading Residential Developer Permanent Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 About the Role Apply for this exciting opportunity to become a Senior Architect at a leading residential projects studio based near Southampton. To become a key member of a bustling, proactive studio, a strong applicant will take up a delegating role within a team of technicians, fostering guidance, leadership and responsibility amongst your peers to ensure your teams decisions efficiently align sustainably and innovatively within contemporary architectural practices. Key Responsibilities Lead and design various residential development projects.Handle projects of varying scales, from 10 to 500+ homes.Oversee projects from feasibility layouts to planning applications.Manage small teams and lead project initiatives.Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.Ensure alignment with project goals, local regulations, and client needs.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.Foster a collaborative and creative work environment. About You The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 10 years' experience required in UK-based residential housing developments.Proficient in residential layout design and architectural skills for outline and RM applications.Demonstrated interest in both urban design and architecture.Familiarity with latest legislations and compliance with CDM regulations.Ability to produce associated documents such as Design Access Statements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Competency in AutoCAD; Revit proficiency preferred.Experience in managing and delivering multiple projects within set timelines and budgets.Hand-drawn sketching skills are advantageous but not necessary.Convenient on-site parking available free of charge.
