The house has recently been newly furnished to a high standard throughout. With one double and one twin bedroom, ideal for 4 people. There is also a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate a further two people if required. Upstairs bathroom and downstairs wc.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided and the beds will be made before your arrival. Bring your own towels for use on the beach and in the garden. The house will be clean and tidy upon your arrival.
LOCATION
Trevone's sandy beach is patrolled by Lifeguards from May to September to ensure a safe bathing environment. Five minutes walk along the coastal path is Rocky Beach which is good for crabbing and has a semi natural tidal 'swimming pool'. Using the stunning coast path you can visit six other nearby unspoilt beaches within walking distance. Padstow, with its picturesque habour, working fishing port and Rick Stein's restaurant is 2 miles away.
Other local activities include:
* Golf: Trevose Championship Golf and Country Club is three miles away. It boasts an 18 Hole Championship Course, 9 Hole Par 3 course for children and 9 Hole intermediate course. Visitors welcome. St Enodoc GC at Rock is about 35 mins by car and Newquay GC, about 20 mins. Both come highly recommended.
* Restaurants include Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Ripley's (Michelin Star) at St Merryn, and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant at Watergate Bay near Newquay.
* Tennis: 3 all-weather courts at the nearby Trevose Golf & Country Club.
* Surfing: on many of the local beaches.
* Camel Trail: cycle the Camel estuary trail from Wadebridge to Padstow (cycles can be hired from either place).
* Crealy Adventure Park is 5 miles away and makes a great day out with children.
* Fishing: good local sea fishing from nearby rocks and beaches, plus boat fishing trips from Padstow
* Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan: both near St Austell about one hours drive away.
