Available for a family or group of friends only (the rooms are not available separately to rent individually), this 4 bed house share is in a lively and vibrant area - populated by a mixture of students and non students living side by side. There is a vestibule upon entry - with both front doors being secured with locks, leaving no need to worry about the security of yourselves or your possessions.
The first bedroom can be found on the ground floor and boasts built in cupboards and shelves, as well as laminate floor, which should be nice and easy to keep clean.
Further down the hallway we have the lounge, which contains a 3 piece suite as well as a funky gas fire to compliment the gas central heating system, and the usual living room furniture such as coffee table and shelves etc. There is also telephone and internet lines in the property - as the previous tenants had phone and internet connections, meaning these lines should be fairly straight forward to reconnect.
Leading off the lounge is the kitchen, which has a fairly recently fitted kitchen, meaning the cupboards and worktops are stylish and look almost brand new. There are plenty of white goods provided in the kitchen, including a fridge freezer plus an extra fridge separately, microwave, washing machine and gas cooker. The back door in the kitchen leads onto the rear yard which has a flower bed along one wall - perfect for anyone with green fingers! The main part of the yard provides you with outdoor space for barbecues, drying washing, filling with tubs of flowers, storing bikes - or whatever else you want to use it for!
At the top of the stairs is the first bedroom - this is the smallest bedroom in the house but the space bas been used well. There is a single bed, desk and chair, and lots of shelves built onto the wall, creating plenty of storage in what at first appears to be a small space. There is also another addition to this room - a lockable wardrobe which has been built into the landing space, for the use only of the occupant of this single room.
Next to the single room is the bathroom - which is a clean compact space with tiled walls which are easy to clean, as well as electric shower alongside the usual toilet and sink. There is an interesting folding door guarding the entranceway to the bathroom - which is a unique way of making sure the door doesn`t take up too much space on the landing.
The next room also has a single bed, but could easily fit a double if you have your own, or could even swap with one of the double beds in the larger rooms. This room also has a desk, as well an ornate fireplace which is handy to use as a bookshelf or for displaying photo frames etc, and two built in cupboards - one large one with wardrobe rail, and one above this containing 2 large shelf spaces.
The bedroom at the front of the house is by far the largest, and boats a beautiful golden coloured double bed, as well as bedside table, wardrobe and plenty of floor space.
This property is in a perfect location for students - as it is within easy reach of the Fallowfield campuses, and would also be ideal for families as there are other non-student houses around, and DSS can be considered on this property.
Fallowfield is a suburban locality in the city of Manchester, England. It lies roughly 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Manchester city centre and is bisected north-south by Wilmslow Road and east-west by Moseley Road and Wilbraham Road. The former Fallowfield Loop railway line, now a cycle path, follows a route nearly parallel with the east-west main road.
The area has a very large student population. The University of Manchester`s main accommodation complex - the Fallowfield Campus - occupies a large area in the north; these are adjacent to the university`s Owens Park halls of residence and the Firs Botanical Grounds. In the north-west of the suburb is Platt Fields Park formed from part of the land which once belonged to the Platts of Platt Hall.
