I am looking to let a one double bedroom flat in Oval. It’s on the 3rd floor of a very modern new build (2 years, I believe) with a spacious bedroom with in-built storage, another separate storage room, a large living room/kitchen with all the electrical equipment, and a bathroom in perfect condition. There is a long balcony perfect for summer BBQs and enjoying the sun (hopeful, I know). Also, beautiful sights – the London Eye, BT tower, Parliament, St Paul’s, the Shard, the Gherkin, and an old council block (it’s London afterall).
Situated between streets full of beautiful Victorian buildings, and a 5min walk to two (!) Tescos. About a 10 min walk on finely lit streets to Oval (Northern Line) or Stockwell tube stations (Northern and Victoria line). There is also a bus stop 2 min away (no 3, 59, 133, 159, 415) that takes you to Oxford Circus, Liverpool Street, Paddington, and Newington. Brixton and all its nightlife is a 5 min bus ride away, and a fantastic gastropub The Fentiman Arms is quickly going to become your local.
The rent is £1300 plus bills, which including council tax add up to around £140 a month. We currently have Orange broadband installed at favourable rates, which can be passed on to the next occupier. We are looking for somebody to move in on the 5th of Feb. You will also be expected to pay £240 in agency fees to change the name on the contract and a deposit of another £1300.
The flat comes furnished with bed, mattress, sofa, armchair, kitchen tables, chairs, kitchen appliances, built in storage, etc - everything you need!
