Camberwell is also a transport hub for buses and there are a huge range of routes and night buses that run to Elephant and Castle in 15 mins (Northern Line tube zone 1) and beyond including the 176 and 12 (Oxford Circus and West End), 35 and 40 (London Bridge and Liverpool Street), 45 and 63 (Euston and Kings Cross) and the 171 (Holborn) to name a few giving easy access to the West End and the City. The 36, 436, 185, N36 run to the Oval (Northern line) in 10 mins and travel on to destinations including Victoria, Westminster and Paddington.
